What does every young person need most to realize their American Dream?

Nearly 20 years ago, all the living presidents declared that all Americans have a responsibility to help young people experience the fulfillment of Five Promises.

We Invite You To Join

We invite you to join America’s Promise Alliance and renew your commitment to our nation’s children.

On April 18, 2017 Gen. and Mrs. Colin Powell invite you to join them in New York City at an inspiring day-long summit for America’s Promise Alliance founders, leaders and supporters.

An evening of celebration featuring the Promise of America Awards presented by
Gen. Colin Powell and Mrs. Alma Powell to honor the extraordinary work of a few individuals who are dedicated to improving the lives of children.

To lay the groundwork for efforts spanning the next 20 years we’re asking individuals to take this 10 question survey about what they think is needed to make every child’s American Dream accessible.

A collaborative approach is central to America’s Promise, and our alliance is the embodiment of it.
From individuals to national organizations and all in between - there is a way to make a difference and impact the life of a young person.

Every president in the past 40 years has endorsed the universal ideals that drive America’s Promise Alliance
